The City of Edmonton Recreation Centres, GoodLife Fitness, and other service industry businesses are temporarily closing their physical locations.  Similarly, the management and building owner at Sun Life Place are taking the same, and necessary, precautions at the Wellness Centre to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 to help address this unique, ever-evolving situation.


Group Classes - Now Online!

Our lunch hour, in-person yoga classes at the Wellness Centre will not be running until further notice.

Never fear, we are now online!

Although our Spring session has been on-hold for the past week, Jacinta and Nikki are ready to resume teaching – from their living rooms to your homes.

For our current participants that have classes in-hand, we are offering 4, 60-minute online classes to make up for the sessions. You will receive an invite to Punchpass and we will make sure you get signed up for 4 of our online classes! Want to try a cardio class? Your credits are good for that, too!

With fitness centres, schools, and public places closed, and as everyone does their best to ‘social distance’, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to maintain any level of physical activity.  However, we know that exercise is one of the best ways to boost your immunity and maintain a healthy mindset during these times of additional physical, emotional, and financial stress.

Workout from your home with our 12-week on-line training program!  Tutorial videos help guide you through the workouts.  Staying (or getting active) is one of the best things we can do to stay positive and healthy during these trying times.

A few simple steps to get started (and help us to build your weekly routine):

1- Tell us what exercise equipment you have at home.

2- Let us know how long you want to exercise each day.

3- How many strength training workouts each week?

4- How many days doing directed cardio workouts each week? How many on your own?
