Growing up in a rural community in southern Alberta, Sarah played every sport available. While she loved every aspect of sport, she always felt that her potential was limited by the lack of physical training knowledge available. Continually striving to become a better athlete, Sarah developed a passion for the art and science of movement and sports performance. Pursuing this passion lead her to the NAIT-PFT diploma program, CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer, and NASM-Corrective Exercise Specialist certifications.
Sarah’s passion for fitness is further ignited through her love for seeing its positive effects on influencing one’s quality of life. From a physical standpoint, consistent and intentional movement helps ease the demands of daily living tasks – from lifting heavy objects at the workplace, to carrying groceries, or to squatting into a chair. From a mental health standpoint, Sarah has experienced firsthand its ability to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and strengthen her ability to focus. She believes that exercise is one of the most under-utilized health modalities available. And the best part? It doesn’t discriminate, it is available to everyone!
